The question about the MEANING of all EXISTENCE is the wrong question. Nature does not intend anything when it makes birds colourful and iridescent and flowers blossom in all colours. All the beauty and fascination is not directed towards a meaning nor is it planned or deliberate. It is solely the purpose that determines the events. Organisms developed because of their function... Fins are caused by water and wings by air... Only when the purpose had been fulfilled did  organisms remain. Only in retrospect does it lead one to assume some meaning in everything. We would like to know this meaning – but it does really not exist!
