Where in the events of the world should we locate something like MIND? But then we have recognised that matter itself seems to be something like MIND, that it does actually not really exist substantially. And it looks as if drives, emotions, and consciousness absolutely have to be understood as a part of matter... There is no question of MIND. MIND is a process. MIND happens within the pieces of information which make the world work. Newsprint paper and printer’s ink are matter just like the eye which focuses on them. The letters are only information but they trigger corresponding chemical processes in us, we “understand” what has been written. Events of this kind are the only kind of MIND which we can find in this universe!
