The chapter PERFECTION deals with the quality of evolution. How is it possible that an evolution could take place over billions of years despite all plagues and diseases like cancer and infections? How can nature’s invincible drive for life be explained? How comes that insects show little susceptibility to chromosomal disturbances and are resistant to radioactivity whereas other life forms react absolutely sensitively to such influences?
